Privacy Policy

Cartenza is a private TestFlight alpha for Apple Music-powered listening missions. This policy explains what information the alpha may collect, how it is used, and how to contact us.

Information We Collect

During the alpha, Cartenza may collect information you provide directly, including survey reactions, mission reactions, tags, notes, tester feedback, support messages, and evidence exports you choose to share.

The app may also collect app and device context needed to run and debug the alpha, such as app version, build number, device type, operating system version, authorization state, diagnostic events, upload status, and crash or usage information provided through TestFlight.

If Sign in with Apple is enabled in a submitted build, Cartenza may receive an Apple-provided user identifier and any name or relay email address you choose to share through Apple.

Apple Music

Cartenza uses MusicKit and Apple Music authorization to search the Apple Music catalog, resolve mission tracks, and play music through your Apple Music account. Cartenza does not receive your Apple Music password, payment information, or full private Apple Music library.

The alpha may store Apple Music-related playback and catalog evidence, such as storefront, catalog identifiers, resolved song metadata, playback success or failure, and tester reactions to what played.

How We Use Information

We use alpha information to operate Cartenza, generate or import listening missions, improve survey and mission quality, diagnose playback or sync issues, respond to support requests, and evaluate whether the product experience is clear and useful.

Service Providers

Cartenza may use service providers to operate the alpha, including Apple services for TestFlight, MusicKit, Sign in with Apple, and crash or feedback handling; backend hosting and database services; and AI service providers for mission generation or mission-copy enrichment. These providers process information as needed to provide their services.

No Sale Of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information. The alpha does not include advertising, public social posting, or public user-generated content.

Retention And Deletion

Alpha data is retained for product testing, debugging, and analysis while the alpha is active. You may request deletion of your alpha data by emailing us. We may retain limited records when needed for security, legal compliance, backup integrity, or de-identified product analysis.

Your Choices

You can stop testing by removing the TestFlight build. You can revoke Apple Music access in iOS settings. If the app provides a local reset or export flow, you can use it to clear or share local alpha evidence before contacting support.

Children

Cartenza is not intended for children under 13. The private alpha should only be used by invited testers who are old enough to participate in TestFlight testing.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards for alpha information, but no app, service, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy as the alpha changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date.
